Try to avoid a sugar free-for-all this year. Let your family pick one or two favourite treats and keep the rest out of sight.
Dental plaque flourishes when sugar is around and it can lead to problems if it’s not washed away properly. Make sure everyone brushes their teeth for at least two minutes with a fluoride toothpaste and flosses to release any stubborn food particles.
