At Belman Dental Centre, your health and safety will always be our number one priority. As the Ministry of Health has deemed dental offices safe and essential, we want you to feel as comfortable as possible when stepping into our office. As we adjust to the changing climate of COVID-19, we have implemented several updates that we want to share with you! Let’s take a look at our recent changes and discuss the importance of community safety.
Physical Changes
You can expect our office to look a little different than the last time you were in! To keep you and our team safe, we now have plexiglass barriers for all desks. You can also enjoy a little more privacy, as all our treatment rooms now have doors to limit risk. In our waiting room, you will find all our chairs seperated to meet social distancing requirements.
Other changes include medical-grade HEPA filters in all rooms, and you will be in good company with our staff as everyone in the building is mandated to wear a face mask!
Protocol Changes
We have made big adjustments to our Cycle of Care protocols. Whether it be before, during, or after your treatment, you will be able to see these new changes take place. We will have strict limits on the number of people in our office, as well as more limits on the time patients spend inside. We ask for your patience if you are experiencing a longer wait time before your appointment, as we want to thoroughly clean any points of contact you may be exposed to.
Everyone will be screened prior to entry and asked a series of COVID-19 related questions. You will also be expected to complete a temperature check before entering the building, and the same rules will apply to our team. We will also require all appointments to be checked in virtually, so we can closely monitor how many people are coming in and out of the office.
